President |
| |
1. Supervise and provide direction for
the affairs of the Society. |

8. Be the Liaison of KHEA to KHA and ASHE |

9. Serve as Program Chairman. |

| |
1. Preside at meetings in the absence of
the President. |

2. Attend/participates in annual planning

3. Attends ASHE Chapter Leadership

4. Supports the needs of the organization

Secretary |
| |
1. Attend, record and distribute (reads)
the minutes of all Society meetings. |

2. Maintains communication with KHA for
up-to-date rosters of members. |

3. Provide a record keeping system for
all historical records. |

4. Support the administrative needs of
the State Society as needed. |

5. See to the publishing of the
newsletter. |

Treasurer |
| |
1. Attend Society meetings. |

2. Maintain financial records of the
Society. |
| |
3. Maintains communication with KHA for
up-to-date financial information. |
| |
4. He/she will perform the duties
involving money, both the collection and
disbursement. |

5. Support the administrative needs of
the State Society as needed. |

Board Member |
| |
1. Attend all Society meetings. |
| |
2. Represent the interest of the majority
of the membership in their district. |
| |
3. Support the administrative needs of
the State Society as needed. |

4. Serve on committees appointed and make
decisions to ensure the viability of the Society. |

Audit Committee |
| |
Review the Treasurers records annually
and prior to the assumption of office by new treasurer. |

Membership Committee |
| |
Publicize the activities of the Society
and solicit appropriate and qualified members to the society.
Communicate with KHA for mailings and dues collection. |

Scholarship Committee |
| |
Disbursement of funds with prior approval
of the Board of Directors. Maintain four ($250 dollar scholarships for
members and direct family members). Judge written articles. |

Program Committee |
| |
Plan and implement the spring and fall
conferences, which stimulate the interest of the members of the
Society. |
